![]() Quality Care Health Foundation's Mission Quality Care Health Foundation (QCHF) is the educational arm of the California Association of Health Facilities (CAHF). QCHF was created to provide quality educational training and resource materials to the estimated 200,000 working professionals in the long term care industry throughout California. QCHF's goal is to provide in-depth training opportunities on a multitude of subjects relating to the needs of long term care providers. These needs cover issues such as regulatory compliance, the Medicare reimbursement system, professional conferences and certification courses, and tools for hands-on management in long term care facilities. Topics for all QCHF programs are developed through membership needs assessment data, changes in state and federal regulations, and access to rapidly changing developments in the delivery system of long term care facilities. QCHF also provides valuable educational products for long term care providers. For products not available through QCHF, please see our references to other publication providers. Each year QCHF offers scholarship opportunities for the employees of long
term care health facilities who are furthering their education and plan
to stay within the industry. Scholarships are given in $500 to $2,500 amounts.
Applications are available starting in January of each year, and are due
the following September 15. |
